About the artist:

Abir Almajed is a Saudi abstract artist, born and raised in Riyadh. She is also a graphic designer, and has earned her bachelor’s degree at Bellevue University.

The artist’s main focus is the idea behind each painting. As she expresses her thoughts or emotions by choosing to work with certain colors, as well as creating different textures for contrasting depths.

However, the meaning of the artwork is not explained to the public, as the artist prefers to view it as a visual diary —— “I usually paint to reflect on or let go of a memory.”

This may be an opportunity to let the viewer interpret each piece to their own perspective.
