Elisabeth is a self-taught artist who lives and works in Sweden, Gothenburg. She started painting in 2015 full time. She is a contemporary abstract painter whose work is both exciting and dynamic but also peaceful and
leaves something to the viewer. Elisabeth paints intuitively and spontaneously and uses many built-up layers to create a feeling of mystery, curiosity and imperfection. The work is constantly developed through daily experiments in the studio where she uses acrylic, pastel, charcoal, graphite, and paints on both canvas and graphic paper. She uses her hands, scrapers, sponges and spatulas instead of brushes.

Creativity is her passion and her curiosity to experiment with color and different materials gives her harmony.

Elisabeth is driven by the challenge and excitement of never knowing in advance the end result of the
painting, but allows herself and trusts her intuition and the mystery that emerges there.
What she wants to convey with her art is the joy and sincerity she feels within herself.
