Art, throughout history, tries to make us reflect on the world around us. It is uncompromising, fanatical, demanding. In contemporary art feminism, race or politics seem to be at the center of the creative vision. However, today's world also has beauty, kindness, tolerance and generosity.
Inspiration can come from something as simple as the smell of freshly cut grass, the sound of stillness or the delicacy of a caress. In my work I draw on the joy of African landscapes, the contemplation of the Madrid sky and the calm of the Tyrolean Alps. I draw my inspiration from the world around me. In the illusion, the sensitivity, the seduction, the expectation. Because art, even in this changing world, can mean peace.
