In my practice as a visual artist, I love to work in my beautiful studio where various
traditional printing techniques can be practiced. Here I work with screen printing as well as gravure and relief printing facilities. Expanding my knowledge and expertise, I am working in between analogue and digital workflows. Mixing the techniques to renew and grow my own style. Research, work process and experiment are leading in my artistic development.
Tangibility and colour are very important to me. Working with my hands and the rhythm of making are the components that influence cognitive processes. Seeing, looking at and approaching the results differently again, is what drives me. Printmaking supplies the ideal techniques for me, and the printing workshop is the best environment for this.
My printing series are created from abstract forms and the structure that results from color overlays and the use of different printing materials. The playful combinations of printing techniques create compositions that are reminiscent of landscapes, but retain their abstract origins. The viewer's eye wanders between foreground and background, in the space of associations.
