"Ever since I started business with natural stone 16 years ago, I’ve been amazed by the perfect works of art that nature creates - all kinds of whimsical shapes in an unimaginably rich palette of colors. That is how my forgotten from childhood artistic talent emerged. So I started to develop it by studying oil technique in the classes of one of our famous Bulgarian artists – Svetlin Nenov.

Next level in development I graduated interior and product design and created my registered at EU trade mark – DianaHomeStyle. All my works are accompanied with Authenticity certificate stamped with my trade mark on a wax. At that time I started creating fashionable furniture and artistic details for the interior from natural stone and wood. As art gives soul to all spaces, my projects always included artworks.

At that time I realized that Design, Fashion and Arts are just three parts of a whole. That is why I continued working on my artistic talent, shortly visiting the 50 years old School of painting of Bulgarian famous artist – Radko Murzov. I was really impressed by his last exhibition “Crystallization”, where he uses mixed technique with salt. On the classes I developed mostly watercolor technique.

Further, my imagination brought me to new heights – using different materials in art – I found my trueself in work with plaster and my old passion natural stone. That is how paintings with platser and natural stone were born.

The path from the birth of the idea in the creator's mind /a sacred secret, which I can't reveal to you even if I want to/ to the creation of the work itself is quite long. Briefly said: the idea is sketched and sized in scale. The stone, to be used in the work, is chosen and templates of the shapes are created. After water cutting and processing of the stone, work can begin on the prepared, already framed canvas. And creativity itself is personal self-expression or wherever your inner voice takes you to. The application of colors with acrylic paint - that can either completely ruin the artwork or make it amazingly come alive. Before that, however, the excess plaster must be removed when it has already dried. Then I really like to add pencil or charcoal, apply color with both brush and palette knives and sponge...mixed technique makes the images so much richer and deeper. And I might spoil it two or three times before it's completely done.

I had some turbulence in my life so my natural inspiration came from life’s lessons, and I am trying to share wise truths and strong spiritual messages that I was up to. My inspiration emerges mostly from the “invisible” part of our world and provokes the inevitable human urge to find answers about life itself and the Great plan. My mission is to try to expand people's consciousness and to encourage them to discover themselves and the wellspring of unconditional love and true joy hidden within them, to boldly follow their dreams, to live a fulfilling life filled with faith, truth, beauty, immense gratitude and goodness.

Recently in life, we, humans, forget to appreciate the real things, that’s why my artworks are raw and honest, and only in natural materials usage orientated. I truly believe in the natural and unadulterated beauty in our world, and I would be unexpressably fulfilled if my vision for self-expression in my art journey succeeds in touching your hearts."
