I find inspiration in nature and everyday life experiences. Art for me is therapeutic and creating art victualizes my soul. Acrylic impasto painting allows me to immerse myself in the creative process sometimes without a plan for the outcome thereby allowing my artwork to emerge into being.

Heather Meyer studied illustration at Kendall College of Art and Design and photography at Lansing Community College. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miller College and works as a marketing executive for various arts organizations. Heather is a contemporary artist who enjoys experimenting with a variety of different mediums.
