I use abstract painting as a tool of self-expression that enables me create visual description of emotions, thoughts and memories important for me as well for the audience. Proper way I often discovers by coincidence and spontaneity that dictates entire painting process after all.
My work is not referred to a completely recognizable form and she is motivated by colours. The color is a fundamental element, just like the gesture and the pace of the individual stroke. Therefore final outcome is mostly a play with deconstructed original shape. My intention is to allow the viewer to reflect inwardly and find their own perspective.
I have no restrictions on the choice of materials, but usually I use acryl paint, or together with oil pastel or graphite, etc. I prefer simplicity, cleanliness and aesthetics.
I am an abstract artist working and living for over than twenty-three years in Prague in Czech republic. Originally I was born and raised in Slovakia in Bratislava, although I spent a short part of my childhood and adolescence with my family in Warsaw in Poland. The environment and culture of another country, as well as some of my family that lived abroad influenced me in a very positive way.
I hold a Master's degree of Architecture and Design at the Slovak University at the Department of Ecological and Experimental Design. After several years and certain achievements in disciplines such an architecture and design and after moving to the Czech Republic where I worked in the creative major such as design and ilustrations I focused fluently my interest at Fine Art which became a daily necessity and a part of my being.
